Direct Phase Cycling and On-board 2D Acquisition

Available starting at Xepr Version 2.6b.54, Direct Phase Cycling and On-board 2D Acquisition are available for systems equipped with the SpecJet-II and PatternJet-II combination.

Combining the unique features of the SpecJet-II and the PatternJet-II, it is now possible to perform high speed phase cycling without reprogramming overhead for 1D and 2D experiments.  The full time evolution including all phase cycles of an experiment is preloaded into the PatterJet-II memory and executed without any interrupts.

Measuring time for 2-pulse echo with 16 step phase cycle:

  • Traditionally: 10 s
  • With Direct Phase Cycling: 0.8 s



On-board 2D Acquistion

Measuring time for a 2D-HYSCORE with 128*128 points, 5 shots/point and 102 µs SRT with 4 step phase cycle:

  • Traditionally: 346 s
  • With Direct Phase Cycling and On-board 2D Acquisition: 70 s
